How do personalized movie recommendations work?
Add at least three movies you like so we can start understanding your taste. You can also add reasons, a movie you disliked, and notes about actors or anything else. Then add your mood and any limits for tonight. AI suggests candidates, researches the strongest matches on the web, and returns one main recommendation and two alternatives. Each comes with reasons, a caution, and links to film sources.
Can I check a movie I already have in mind?
Yes. Choose Will I like this movie?, enter its title and your taste, and get a spoiler-free assessment of how well it might suit you. Add the release year if the title has multiple versions.
What does Hidden Gem mode do?
Hidden Gem mode favours lesser-known films among strong personal matches. The optional Dig deeper setting suppresses familiar genre recommendations too. Familiarity is an AI estimate, not a measured popularity score.
Can it tell me where to watch?
After getting a recommendation or movie assessment, select Check where to watch. We search the web for viewing options in your selected country. Listings can change, so confirm availability and price on the service before paying.
Do I need an account, and where is my taste saved?
No account is needed. Your taste and lasting feedback are saved in this browser. When you search, your submitted preferences and location are sent to OpenAI to generate the response. Use Start over on the movie-search page to clear your saved profile.
